Restoration of Indigenous People’s Rights in Natural Resources Management

The position of Indigenous communities remains uncertain due to the biased recognition they receive. In other words, provided by central or regional government is unsatisfactory as it influenced political and economic interests, seen in case Cek Bocek Reen Sury Community, which has yet obtain legal certainty. Therefore, restoration rights, particularly management natural resources that have been heavily sacrificed, requires improvements recognition, participation, resource management. This research employs a normative juridical method with legislative study approach. Primary materials consist various legislations, while secondary include books scholarly journals specifically addressing Community. findings this indicate plays crucial role resolving issues bias towards Law Communities, can be initiated through enactment on Recognition Communities. Consequently, derivative concepts such Free, Prior, Informed Consent (FPIC) soon realized, thereby reducing mining conflicts
